Earl E. Strong, Jr.
(November 26, 1938 - November 22, 2010)
Earl E. Strong, Jr., age 71, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born November 26, 1938 in Burns, Kansas the son of Earl E. and Matilda Morgan Strong. A resident of Garden City since 1980 moving from Leoti, Kansas, he had worked in the maintenance department for Monfort, Inc. retiring in 1995.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Garden City, KS.
He married Evelyn Renick in the mid 1970’s.
Survivors include: One Son, Matthew Strong of Kemp, Texas; One Daughter, Jolei Elliot of Beloit, Wisconsin; One Sister, Alice Roof of Arizona; and Five Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
There will be no calling times at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Earl E. Strong Jr. Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
