Chocolate Pudding Bars

No frosting necessary for these bars!

1 3 1/4 ounce package of chocolate pudding that requires cooking

1 package chocolate cake mix

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Cook the pudding with milk according to the manufacturers directions. Stir in the cake mix. Mix very well.

Pour this batter into a greased 9" x 13" pan or 10" x 15" pan. Scatter the chocolate chips and nuts, if desired, on the top.

Bake for 25 minutes. After cake is cooled, cut it into bars.
