Heartwarming

As you should already know, I have a strong belief and faith in God. It seems as if I do not have to look very far to find something new and fresh that only He could produce.

A couple of weeks ago, some dear friends of ours were forced to bid a fond but very tearful good-bye to their cat whom they had loved for many years. They considered looking for a new cat to fill the void of the former cat. It is funny how we may be looking for something but instead of us finding it, IT finds us. That is exactly what happened yesterday.

A couple walked approximately 3 blocks to Dollar General to pick up a few things. Once they had completed their purchase and returned outside, they discovered a beautiful fluffy cat. They recognized the cat as looking identical to our Goldie so they called us. Our Goldie was asleep on the sofa so it wasn't him who they had "found". Learning that, the couple began their walk back home.

As they took their steps, he took his steps--right behind them. The cat remained with the couple all of the way to their home. The cat remained outside as the man and woman entered their home.

Their oldest daughter was in her basement bedroom. Soon, she began hearing some strange meows from outside. It was the cat who was trying to convince her to bring him indoors where it was warm.

The girl excitedly ran upstairs to her parents and told them that there was a strange cat at her bedroom window and she wanted to let him come indoors.

The parents gave their permission and went just one step further. If no one claims their newly found friend, they will neuter him and give him a very happy home for the rest of his life.

I just found this to be one of those stories that was just begging me to pass on to you.
