Once all of the grade school and junior high students had taken their seats at the musical today, Mrs. Torie (Graff) Koehn came out on stage to welcome each and every one of us to their musical production. But before everything got started, she asked everyone to stand up and listen to the older Kiser boy as he played the emotional TAPS on his trumpet. He did a great job! Then everyone said the Pledge of Allegiance before returning to our seats. All of this, of course, was in honor of Veterans Day today. People, including myself, were very pleased with this extra that we all did.
