Ben J. Isaac, age 91, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on November 25, 1918 in Jefferson County, Nebraska the son of Jacob F. and Katherine Isaac. Ben was a farmer and custom harvester and had been a resident of Garden City since 1970 moving from Meade, Kansas.
He was a member of Garden Valley Church in Garden City, Kansas.
On July 21, 1944 he married Helen K. Friesen @ Meade, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors Include: One Son, Russell (& Kathleen) Isaac of Garden City, Kansas; One Daughter, Donna (& Roger) Morris of Garden City, Kansas; Four Brothers, George J. Isaac of Meade, Kansas, Abe J. Isaac of Meade, Kansas, Lee Isaac of Hugoton, Kansas and Alvin Isaac of Hillsboro, Kansas; Four Grandchildren, Roger Morris, Jr., Melissa Hamilton, Corie Isaac & Amy Villanueva Six Great-Grandchildren, Jayden DeLaRosa, Xavier Villanueva, Paige Isaac, Brady Hamilton Max Morris and Josie Morris.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Junia Elaine Isaac, five brothers & two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Garden Valley Church in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Carey Gossen presiding.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to Garden Valley Church or to Garden City Family YMCA both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City
