Douglas E. Patten--Leoti and Tribune

(September 13, 1945 - October 30, 2010)

Douglas E. Patten, age 65, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Doug was born September 13, 1945 in Colby, Kansas the son of Roy E. & Blanche Ella Elliott Patten. He was the owner/operator of Kem-Tek Grain Services in Leoti, Kansas and had been a Wichita County resident since 1985 moving from Tribune, Kansas.
Doug was a member of the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas as well as the Lake Scott Car Club. He enjoyed antique car restoration and was an avid fisherman.

On October 30, 1987 he married Ramona Adkinson Pearson at Raton, New Mexico.

Doug’s surviving family members include- His wife- Ramona Patten- Leoti, Kansas Three sons- Paul Patten- San Antonio, Texas Bryan Patten- El Dorado, Kansas Camron Patten- Leoti, Kansas Three step-sons Clint Pearson- Scott City, Kansas Lance Pearson- Lawrence, Kansas Travis Pearson- Wichita, Kansas Nine grandchildren

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Mike Howard officiating.

Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church or the Wichita County Health Center in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
