George Maxwell Pyle, age 73, died on November 7th at his home in Garden City, Ks. He was born on August 15, 1937 in Hutchinson, Ks., the son of George Maxwell and Fern Mildred Chappel Pyle. A lifetime resident of Southwest Kansas, he had been an auto parts store salesman in Garden City for many years. George was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his caretaker, Anita L. Salem of Dodge City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10th, at the Penwell-Gable Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hutchinson, Kansas with Reverend Mark Durham presiding.
The family requests memorials be given to St. Catherine Hospice in care of Price and Sons Funeral Homes of Garden City, Ks.
