Seaboard Farms Moving Into the Greeley County Area???

Yes, that is true! Seaboard's hog farms are expected to be in operation in Greeley County sometime in the next 3 years. In MY opinion, this is a great thing. Over the past several years, Tribune's population has been dwindling at an alarming rate. That is primarily because of the fact that there are so few jobs available there. These new farms will provide many new job opportunities to their area. The feed will be produced and hauled from the feedmill in Leoti.

Tribune is a great place to live!!! The people there are quite nice, friendly and are always welcome to lend a helping hand to their people. For many years, people have been so impressed with the way that Greeley Countians go out of their ways to provide the best community possible. For instance, many volunteers sign up on a regular basis to operate such things as the Star Theatre and the local carnival.

Over the years, the movie theatre had fallen into disrepair. The citizens came out to help renovate it and to actually tear down old walls and to install new walls in other areas to help with the flow of the moviegoers. Their work has been quite impressive!
