Updates on all of the dogs in the City Dog Pound

I have GREAT news to share with you!!! We spoke with City of Leoti Code Enforcer, Rick Harp, yesterday about the current situation with the impounded dogs here. As of yesterday, November 12th, all four of the dogs who had been living at the City of Leoti Dog Pound have been picked up and have loving homes now!!! Remember the Labradors? Come to find out, they had just gone "on a vacation" from their permanent home in Pence, Ks. Fortunately, their family claimed them and have taken them back where they belong!

One of the other two dogs who had spent over 40 days in the pound, was adopted by a family who wanted to give her to their son, T.B., whose birthday was today. He decided to name her after his second grade teacher, Mrs. Sara Brown. Now if that isn't a compliment and a half for Mrs. Brown, I don't know what would be!!!

I always request prospective pet owners to check out their local pound or Humane Society to find their new friends BEFORE they purchase one from someone else. The animals in the pounds are walking their last walk unless someone takes them home.
